Introverts and Depression
More introverts suffer with depression than extroverts, maybe because they just naturally spend more time alone and no one notices that they need help, or maybe because they feel so much pressure to be something that they aren't. American culture tends to favor the extrovert and the introvert can often feel not good enough. They can be under a lot of pressure to fit in and learn better social skills. Introverts often feel pressure to be more like an extrovert in order to compete at work and school. Maybe this extra pressure introverts feel can have an impact on their mental health.
