Finding Time For Yourself; Filling your own cup!
Finding time for yourself and filling your own cup is one of the most essential things you can do to help anxiety and depression. From my experience, anxiety disorders are best treated from many different angles, and taking care of yourself and your needs should be a top priority! I don't believe anxiety disorders are caused by any one thing and I don't think treating them from any one point of view makes sense either. Poor diet and nutrition that can be a contributing factor. There are also emotional and spiritual factors such as putting yourself last, not making time for yourself, putting your self down and thinking negative thoughts So in your search for wellness always remember that you are important too!
If you neglect yourself and your own needs you won't have anything left to give, to anyone else. Making our own needs a priority isn't selfish it is imperative! If you care for everyone but yourself, and always put your own needs last, you may end up damaging your physical and mental health, as well as your self -esteem.. Putting everyone's needs before your own, is like telling yourself and everyone else that you aren't as important as they are. Making time for yourself is loving and respecting yourself. When you love and respect yourself, others will love and respect you as well.
